The landscape is mostly flat and fertile, with hills, rivers, and the vast Lake Tai to the south, while the Yangtze River borders the north. The city is well-developed economically and well-connected by rail, road, and water routes. Wuxi's rich cultural heritage includes classical gardens, historic temples, and traditional cuisine known for its sweet and savory flavors.
