Scope

Travel Timing Guide is operated by Code Foundry, LLC. This policy describes how we create, source, and maintain destination editorial content on traveltiming.guide.

Sources

Destination overviews and list sections (things to do, things to see, planning tips, pros and cons, and similar) are primarily derived from Wikivoyage and, where noted, other open sources under Creative Commons licenses.

Weather rankings, travel windows, and typical climate summaries are produced by our own data pipeline and are not copied from third-party guides.

Curated collections combine editorial introductions written for Travel Timing Guide with destinations selected using our weather and attribute filters.

Review and updates

Generated destination content is reviewed in our internal workflow before publication. Pages show a “last updated” date when editorial sections change materially.

We correct factual errors when reported. Email [email protected] with the page URL and a description of the issue.

Attribution

Wikivoyage content is used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). We attribute Wikivoyage contributors on destination pages where that content appears.
