About this place
Forest Park is the name of a large city park and a section of Queens, a borough of New York City. The area includes the neighborhoods of Forest Hills, Rego Park, and Kew Gardens. Forest Hills is a well-kept, leafy neighborhood home to relatively well-to-do homeowners and immigrants from areas including the former Soviet Union and Poland. Rego Park has been settled in particular by immigrants from Uzbekistan and East Asia, while Kew Gardens is effectively a wealthy suburb within New York City limits. None of these neighborhoods have must-sees for tourists, but trips there for interesting food and a walk around can be pleasant and show the traveler a different side of New York.
