About this place
Oshodi is a busy town within Lagos City, long known for the Oshodi Market, once one of the largest markets in Lagos before its demolition in 2016. It remains a major transit hub where visitors can connect to almost any part of the city via commercial and government buses, tricycles, and motorcycles.
Though the famous market is gone, Oshodi still functions as a practical base for exploring wider Lagos. Accommodations are generally modest 2–3-star hotels, and the area offers straightforward access to the city's beaches, cuisine tours, and the Lekki Conservation Centre.
