About this place
Mossoró is the second‑largest city in Rio Grande do Norte and a working hub for petroleum, salt, agriculture, shrimp farming and renewable energy. Set on the state’s western edge between Natal and Fortaleza, it sees few tourists and offers a genuine slice of interior life. The closest beach, Tibau, is about 40 km north, making salt‑and‑sand day trips easy.
