About this place
Del Valle and Narvarte offer a more residential, lived-in side of Mexico City, just south of the bustling downtown core. Del Valle is known for its upscale character, with inviting tree-lined streets, high-end shopping, and a diverse restaurant scene. Right next door, Narvarte presents a more middle-class, multicultural vibe, where immigrant communities have created pockets of authentic sights, sounds, and flavors.
The area, which also includes the upscale Colonia Napoles, developed from the early 20th century and retains quiet, mostly residential blocks. It's a practical and comfortable base, especially popular with remote workers and long-stay travelers looking for an authentic neighborhood experience without sacrificing great connections to the rest of the city.
