About this place
Aksaray sits in Central Anatolia, about 240 km southeast of Ankara and 50 km west of Cappadocia. With over 247,000 residents, it is a functioning regional city that sees only a trickle of international visitors, which keeps its bazaars, tea gardens, and street-side eateries refreshingly genuine.
